With Viper Cart, you are able to import any orders you receive via eBay and manage them just like a web or point of sale order. This means full control of orders from one easy to use interface.
To be able to utilise this integration, all you need is to have eBay's Selling Manager enabled on your account which is available either for free or for a small monthly charge depending on which country your account is registered in. After you have Selling Manager, all you need to do to import orders is :-
1. Login to "My eBay" and click "Sold" under the "Selling Manager" section on the left.
2. Tick the orders you wish to import, click the "Download" button at the bottom of the page and save the file it gives you to your desktop. At this point we strongly recomend you click "Continue" and then mark all the orders you have just downloaded as dispatched and archive them. This is because otherwise eBay will tell you that there are orders to dispatch when you have already done them.
3. Login to the administration area of your store, click "Orders" on the top menu then click "Import eBay Orders" on the left menu.
4. Click the "Browse" button and browse for the file you downloaded from eBay and then simply click Import.
One big advantage of the eBay integration is that statistics for all your sales channels (Web, Point of Sale and eBay) can be viewed rather than one set of statistics for each channel. To be able to do this, all you need to do is tie together the titles and subtitles of products you sell via eBay with products you have on your site.
Another advantage is stock control. Assuming you have tied together the eBay products with products on your site, the stock figures for the products on your site will be adjusted when you import the orders in.
In the future, we plan to advance this integration even more. The first step will be allowing you to list items on eBay from within Viper Cart similar to how Turbo Lister works but with the ability to access your item list from any computer in the world with an internet connection and modern web browser and also the ability to automatically list items in your "Item Pool" at a set time every week saving you on eBay's Scheduled Listing Fees. We also plan to allow automatic pulling of orders from eBay's API at regular intervals eliminating the need for you to download and import orders.
